Therapy
Electrotherapy
The electrotherapy modalities involve the introduction of some physical energy into a biological system. This energy brings about one or more physiological changes, which are used for therapeutic benefit. Electrotherapy includes a range of treatments using electricity to reduce pain, improve circulation, repair tissues, strengthen muscles, and promote bone growth, leading to improvements in physical functioning.

We at Jay Physiotherapy possess latest equipment for therapy which include Ultrasound, Shortwave diathermy (SWD), Interferential therapy (IFT), Russian Current, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), Diadynamic currents, Continuous Passive Motion (CPM), LASER, Cervical and lumbar traction, Electrical stimulator, and Radiofrequency currents.
Kinesiotaping
The Kinesio Taping® Method is a definitive rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion as well as providing extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting.
Latex-free and wearable for days at a time, Kinesio® Tex Tape is safe for populations ranging from pediatric to geriatric, and successfully treats a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, neurological and other medical conditions. The Kinesio Taping® Method is a therapeutic taping technique not only offering support to the structure, but also rehabilitating the affected condition as well.
Fascial Manipulation
The uniqueness of Fascial Manipulation® is that we are looking at the body as a whole, not just "where it hurts" or where the problems appear to be. Most of the time, fascial alterations away from the affected painful area are the actual cause of the problem. In most cases, we are able to treat acutely painful conditions and not even touch the area that hurts. In other words, the fascial structures in other areas may be causing abnormal (or unbalanced) pull or stress on the muscles, joints or nerves that cause you to feel pain, limited movement or even altered sensations in a different part of your body.
Your therapist may be testing and treating areas that you might think have nothing to do with your problem, but since the body is one complex and complete unit, it is very important to assess all aspects of the workings of the body in an effort to achieve balance and allow the body to do the job of healing itself more accurately.
Often a single targeted session is enough to solve a pain that has been dragging on for years.
Kinetic Control
Kinetic Control is an individualized and advanced exercise training program to focus on primary movement impairment and the cause for it. Identification of uncontrolled movement can mange pain recurrence that threatens future performance and well being. It helps in understanding the key relationship between the restrictions of function and compensation strategies.
Using Kinetic Control’s movement testing uncontrolled movement is classified into diagnostic subgroups that can be used to develop individual retraining programmes.

Kinetic Control provides with a wide variety of tools for implementing retraining strategies that will improve movement efficiency and help to achieve outcomes faster, save time, speed up recovery and also prevent recurrence.
Dorn Therapy
The Dorn therapy is a gentle vertebrae and joint treatment. It can be helpful for treating illnesses directly or indirectly connected to the spinal column. It is completely safe but still very effective.
Our skeleton should be symmetrical, harmonic and in a static-dynamic alignment equilibrium. When there is a disturbance in the alignment of the spine (even minimal), individuals start to experience pain, systemic disturbances etc.,
When the skeleton is re-aligned people often feel better fast and symptoms of illness can disappear or abate. The Dorn Method uses motion to divert the muscles tension and in this relaxed state it is reasonable easy to re-align the bones.
PEMF Therapy
Pulsed Electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy, has been known to have beneficial effects on the human body. Ultra low intensity, extremely low frequency & highly homogenous pulsating magnetic field in a non invasive manner has been used for treating various diseases.
PEMF therapy has anti inflammatory properties. It heals injured tissues & gives relief to pain. PEMF acts at cellular level & this energy gets converted to positive physiological responses.
PEMF Therapy is used to treat
1. Chronic pain
2. Drug resistant depression
3. Insomnia (Sleeplessness)
4. Headache
5. Diabetic wounds
6. Fractures (Especially Non Union)
7. Diabetic Neuropathy
8. Parkinson's disease
9. Stroke
10. Cerebral palsy (Developmental disorders)
11. Nerve Injuries
